Dion Welton is the founder of Hope is Now ministries and a graduate of St. Thomas University in Miami Florida where he attended on a basketball scholarship. Following his collegiate career Dion played for three seasons professionally in Europe.Following his basketball career Dion worked nearly 15 years in marketing research and consulting. He is quickly becoming a popular speaker, writer and motivator in and outside the Christian community nationwide.
His God given ability to inspire people from all walks off life has made him a sought after presenter at numerous events. His talks and writings focus on the wonderful amazing grace and mercy God has for each and every one of us if we simply, genuinely, with repentant hearts, accept it. Dion grew up in central Indiana where his parents, married 51 years still reside and provided a loving caring, disciplined home.
