If you are seeking a broad ranging, Christ centered curriculum, look no further! This is a wonderful program created for children between the ages of 3 to 7. Using a calming, quiet, questioning format allows the children to formulate and ask questions meaningful to their faith-walk.However, there is much prepatory work in this curriculum - you must either create paper (laminate for future use!) or wooden figures to work with, fabrics and props to create the scenes and plastic shoe boxes to store all this in - for the children enjoy working with stories long after they are told. Be prepared to spend some time (and volunteers!) to help put these kits together.Overall, it's allowed even our most wiggly ADD children to connect on a deeper level with their Lord and saviour. And that's why I teach Sunday School - thank you for creating something that works!

We use this book in our weekly Worship/Storytelling for 3 year olds to 3rd graders at my church

This is by far the most fruitful, simple, engaging, and theologically faithful tool for Christian education I have ever seen or used. I have personally constructed all of the elements patterned in Berryman and Stewart's book and after teaching with them for ten years have passed them on to my daughter, age 17, who is now teaching her first class. This book is "true riches" and well worth owning. I have 'used up' four copies and my daughter is using the fifth. Enjoy and grow!!!

This book give awesome ideas on how to include young children in worship. Patterns are included that would work well on a felt board to give children visuals of what you are teaching. This is a must have book for anyone wanting to be involved in a childrens ministry.

I love that this book encourages children to explore scripture spiritually. The language, rituals, and silence of worship are so important. It is challenging to change from tradition Sunday School with arts and crafts to this form of children's worship. Our teachers find the silence challenging and do not like the basic reflection time. I, however, love it and think it works well. The biggest challenge for me is building all the supplies needed to tell the stories. They are very expensive to buy and we do not have someone to make them.

Our church is using this, along with the wooden figures in our Sunday school program. We received around 16 hours of training from a "Young Children in Worship" trainer. We're impressed with the program, but will have to evaluate it in action. The program officially starts in our church next week.

This book includes explaination, 41 stories (lessons), and plans for materials needed of a great worship service children really get into. I have been doing this program for 2 years and my children are incredible. I wish the adults would have this much respect. I highly recommend this book for anyone looking for a successful worship program for their children.

This children's worship program is awesome. The children in our program love it & I am just awed at how worshipful they are. Highly recommend the whole program.
